Beverly Location: Available for Pick-up or Delivery April 10 & 11
Western Avenue Location: Available for Pick-up April 10 & 11; Delivery April 3-5 and 9-12
Our Plant Boss, Joan Murray, and her team are crafting each of these containers (at a safe distance from each other) just for you. In addition to a combo of beautiful spring bulbs and other plants, we’re also including good wishes and kind thoughts for this challenging time.
And all designs now include herbs - when the bulbs are gone, your herb plant will keep growing, and feeding you, all season long.
Get one for yourself for your porch or for a neighbor or friend. While we’re all freaking out about the world, the flowers remind us that maybe, just maybe, everything will be ok… each pot is unique but if you want a matched set, you can indicate that at checkout.
If you need some additional happy thoughts, the pots are made of wood fiber and can be composted vs. thrown in the trash.
Spring is not cancelled…
We’re going to continue offering food and other plants to you because - since we’re all on lockdown - our outdoor spaces are more important than ever.
We also think food gardening is going to be really important this year so we’ll be offering food plants, soil, raised beds and other related products and services.
This is how we’re going to do it…
Our offerings are going to be “timed” meaning - you order online by a certain day, we get the product from our suppliers and process it (with the safety minded protocols you can read about on the next tab over) and deliver to you. It’s not instant gratification like “normal” shopping but, for the time being, there is no normal.
The New York Times, Huffington Post, Chicago Reader and others are talking about how gardening is so important right now and we couldn’t agree more. We’re here for you - at a safe distance - to get you the supplies you need to feed yourself, bring some joy to a crazy time or both.

Thank you for being part of our community of customers, gardeners and friends.
A few ways your continued support helps our small, woman owned business:
- Well, we’re small and woman owned
- Our growers are all midwest, family owned businesses
- We buy from US made, small businesses whenever possible
- Our staff includes industry professionals and members of our United We Blossom job training team. Many of them have families.
- Delivery drivers are friends and family whose jobs have been put on hold due to their business sectors (photography, events, others) being put on hold
- As a social enterprise, we believe the world would be a better place with more gardeners in it and we need a better world now more than ever
- We employ the community… and we are the community

And we feel that mission is even more important in the light of COVID-19.

- We will be offering contact-less delivery Friday through Sunday or by appointment for large orders.
- We will be offering curbside pick-up Friday and Saturday or by appointment for large orders.
- No one other than staff and delivery drivers are allowed on premises.

Most of our staff is working from home to offer online support for pre-ordering of vegetable plants and food garden building materials. As well as offer online consultations for landscaping, food gardening, gardening with kids, etc. (You can learn more about consulting services HERE.)
Our landscape design team is in full swing creating backyard paradises for our customers. To contact them, click HERE.
In-store we are working on two person shifts for receiving, order processing and pick-up. There is one person in the store and one person in the yard at any given shift. They are maintaining maximum social distance. Each shift ends with disinfecting everything.
Delivery drivers work solo - they come to the yard, get premade orders and deliver to you contact-less. You’ll receive a text from your driver asking where to put your order. They wear gloves. They are also, still, friends and family who are unemployed from their regular jobs due to the pandemic.
