Summer Garden Discovery Days

There’s nothing like making memories in The Summer Garden! Join crafter extraordinaire Linda Laake for a one-hour nature-based craft/educational activity for children ages 4-10. (Parents can participate or browse while the fun happens but must be on premises.) Participating kids will receive a “Discovery Passport” they can stamp after each Saturday. Full passports get a prize after the final session! RSVP is required.

What to Plant Now: Landscape Anchors - Shrubs & Grasses

Join us from 6-8pm for complimentary beverages. Children can gather 'round from 6:30-7pm for storytime.

Natives for Newbies - Parts 1 & 2

Join Julie Siegel of J. Siegel Designs to learn the fundamentals of using native plants in your landscape. This class is intended for people interested in incorporating native plants into their landscape. The two-part class will include discussion of landscape fundamentals and plant selection with discussion of your project's specific needs. Julie is one of the most experienced native landscape architects in the Chicago area; you will learn a tremendous amount from her years of experience. And she's a lovely person, too. Attendees must participate in both sessions. The class fee of $50 will be credited toward any plant purchases you make toward your project. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from the best!
